All of us here at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison Colorado - just a short drive outside of Denver - are so excited to welcome The Flatland Cavalry to the stage as they hit Rock’s stage as they hit the road on their Flatland Forever Tour, hitting stops across America from February to October. And the boys are going everywhere on the map - from Norfolk to Stagecoach to Ruidoso Downs to Red Rocks - we’re so excited to welcome The Cavalry back to the stage for what is becoming their yearly pop up at our Morrison home over here -, and that we’re so not complaining about it. 

Flatland Cavalry are the truest Red Rockers we’ve had here in awhile. Coming all the way from Lubbock Texas and formed on their college campus back in the early 2010s, the band is made up of vocalist Cleto Cordero, Jonathan Saenz on bass, guitarist Reid Dillon, and drummer Jason Albers. They got their start back in 2015 with their debut EP release titled Come May. They saw a bit of success with that record, and soon after released their first full length studio album, Humble Folks, and saw massive worldwide support and the accolades came in. Reaching the top 20 in Billboard’s Folk charts and top 40 in the Country charts, the album was reviewed well by many critics - and made way for the band’s next three albums. They also began to collab with some of the biggest in the country and folk game - including The Castellows and Kaitlin Butts. 

The group has also toured extensively too. Flatland Forever is their seventh official headlining tour, and the group has gotten their touring figured out to a T. Selling out tickets everywhere they go weeks in advance to the show dates, their concerts have been described as musical bliss, having hints of woods-y sounds mixed with euphoria, and like your favorite backroad in Texas. The ambiance was spectacular, but FC’s performance made it even more memorable!”.
